The features of your QR TripTag
Finally, the time has come – you have planned a journey. Full of anticipation, you pack your bags and worry that you might have forgotten something. But often it is not the one pair of underwear that you forget to take with you. You should be more concerned about the fact that according to statistics, one bag per flight gets lost. This is why many people use conventional luggage tags and write down their address on paper. So at least the luggage can be sent home that way.
Current address data and travel destinations
But what to do if your luggage gets lost and is needed sooner or if you are going on a trip with several stopovers? Then the luggage is pretty much useless back home. The QR TripTag solves this problem: It is not only waterproof and sturdy, but also reusable and always up-to-date. Always up-to-date? Yes, because your address is not written on a piece of paper, but stored in your digital address card – the TripCard. You can update it from anywhere with any web-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, laptop/PC) at any time. You can even update it if your luggage is already lost.
In addition to your postal address, you can also enter your travel dates and destinations in the TripCard. So the person who finds your luggage knows immediately where you are and where you need your luggage. By the way, you can read the TripTag with any QR code app, including the free ones. Interesting technical fact: QR codes have been developed in such a way that they can still be scanned even if 30% of the code is damaged or dirty.
Increased data security
Since your personal details do not hang readable for everybody on your luggage, fraudsters have a harder time. Not only is your data stored in Germany on a server with SSL encryption, it also cannot be stolen at a glance from your luggage tag. Plus, you have the option to deactivate your TripCard when your luggage is with you and therefore in safe hands. So if someone with bad intentions takes a picture of your QR code, he or she will still not be able to see your data when your TripCard is deactivated.
